I haven't been on DevArt lately, with so much going on. I can say my life has taken a few interesting turns... I have a new boyfriend, and he's helping me deal with some recent events. I'm sure you can all understand I've been especially stressed, after losing two of my closer uncles. (To everyone who left kind words on [link] : Your words have been much help to me. Thank you.)Since the funerals, my mother has bee (for a lack of a better description) jumping down my throat and bitching at me just because she feels the need to argue with me at least once a day.

I also spent a night in the E.R. about a week before the 4th of July for a severe kidney infection. I was so dehydrated from vomiting that the nurse had to put me on a saline IV for almost three hours before they could take a urine sample. I made a quick recovery with ten days of antibiotics, but I spent the 4th of July sitting in the shade most of the time. (And I'm very out of shape now.)

My home life is such that, right now, I'm just trying to get by until I can escape to school. I probably won't be doing much work or putting up many updates for at least another month.
